Anxiety Therapy:
Many people come in exhausted from constantly overthinking, feeling on edge, or struggling to quiet their mind long enough to feel present in their daily life. I help children and adults better understand their anxiety, develop healthier coping patterns, and feel more grounded. I use approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.
Relationship/Friendship Challenges:
Struggling with conflict, communication difficulties, feeling misunderstood in friendships and/or relationships? Maybe you keep overthinking conversations, feel drained by friendships, struggle to set boundaries, or find yourself repeating the same unhealthy patterns with people. I help clients better understand themselves and others, build healthier connections, and communicate more openly and confidently.
Body Image & Self-Esteem:
Many teens and adults struggle with self-criticism, comparison, or feeling like they are never “good enough.” I help clients build a healthier relationship with themselves, challenge negative self-beliefs, and develop a greater sense of self-worth.
Experience/Education & Clinical Approach:
I have 3 years of experience working as a Behavioral Health Specialist in the eating disorder field, leading CBT, DBT, and art groups for kids, teens and adults. I hold a B.S. in psychology from Kennesaw State University. Currently, I am completing my M.S. in counseling at the University of North Georgia. Overall, I strive to work from a strengths-based approach focusing on what is going to help heal. I am passionate about creating a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental environment to empower individuals to have a stronger sense of self and navigate challenges.
