Child Therapy:
I use play therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help children with anxiety, behavioral challenges, Autism, and ADHD develop insight into themselves and others. My work focuses on building skills for emotional regulation, peer relationships, family dynamics, and communication. Play therapy offers a safe, supportive space for children to explore and express their inner and outer worlds, helping them process and resolve emotional and psychological challenges in a developmentally appropriate way.
Teen Therapy:
I specialize in working with teens who want to empower themselves by understanding where they’ve been and where they want to go. Using ACT, CBT, and person-centered approaches, I help them explore their experiences with anxiety, depression, family and relational dynamics, barriers to success, and sense of purpose.
Adult Therapy:
I work with adults seeking to gain insight into their past, patterns, and passions in order to live more meaningful, connected, and purpose-driven lives. I draw from ACT, CBT, person-centered, and attachment-based approaches to support this growth and equip clients with the skills and self-understanding needed for lasting change.
Experience/ Education:
I strive to create a warm, safe environment where clients feel supported in working toward positive change. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Human and Family Development from the University of Georgia, and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. I also hold a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. My background includes research experience in the Neuropsychology Department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Child Health and Medical Pain Lab at Georgia State University.
