I use play therapy and CBT to help children with anxiety, behavioral issues, Autism, and ADHD gain insight into themselves and others and equip them with skills to assist with emotional regulation, peer relationships, family dynamics, and communication. Play therapy provides children with a therapeutic space to safely explore and express their inner and outer worlds and resolve emotional and psychological issues.
I specialize in working with teens who want to empower themselves by understanding where they’ve been and where they want to go. Using ACT, CBT, and person-centered theories, I assist them with understanding their anxiety, depression, family and relational dynamics, barriers to success, and purpose in life.
I work with adults looking to gain insight into their past, patterns, and passions to help them live more meaningful, connected, and purpose-driven lives. I utilize ACT, CBT, person-centered, and attachment theories to equip adults with the skills and insight to do so.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
I strive to create a warm and safe environment where I help clients achieve positive change. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Human and Family Development from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. I previously obtained a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Seattle Pacific University, and completed research in the neuropsychology department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Child Health and Medical Pain lab at Georgia State University.
