Child Therapy:
With children, I utilize child-centered play therapy to create a safe and developmentally appropriate space where they can express themselves through their language, which is play. Through play therapy, I help children explore emotions, build resilience, work through challenges and develop emotional regulation through coping skills.
Teen & Young Adult Therapy:
I specialize in working with teens and young adults to offer support around identity, anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem through an integrative and holistic approach that incorporates insight-oriented talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as a strengths based approach.
Adult Therapy:
For adults, I focus on pattern recognition, life story integration, and emotional insight from a psychodynamic approach including reality therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to help clients uncover emotional patterns, process their experiences, and deepen their self-understanding.
Creating a Safe Space:
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to embark in self-exploration, I aim to provide a grounded and empathetic, judgment-free space specifically tailored for you. Creativity, curiosity, and connection are central to my work. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and understood, often in ways that go beyond words.
Experience/Education:
I am a Master’s Level Clinical Intern who works with children, teens/college students/young adults, and adults navigating life’s challenges, transitions, and emotional complexities. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. I am currently attending Walden University where I will graduate in August (2025) with a Master of Science in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling.
