I help individuals with anxiety by providing a calm, compassionate space where they can openly explore their thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. I work collaboratively with clients to identify the patterns—both cognitive and behavioral—that contribute to their anxiety, using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based strategies. Together, we develop practical tools to manage overwhelming thoughts, build emotional resilience, and regain a sense of control. My goal is to help clients not only reduce symptoms but also understand the root causes of their anxiety, so they can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind

I am passionate about helping teens and adults experiencing depression by offering an empathetic and nonjudgmental space where they can begin to make sense of what they’re feeling. Together, we explore the emotional, cognitive, and situational factors contributing to their depression, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT or ACT and behavioral activation. I help clients challenge negative thought patterns, reconnect with their inner strengths, and develop practical strategies for improving mood and motivation. My goal is to walk alongside them as they move toward greater self-understanding, emotional healing, and a renewed sense of hope and purpose.

I specialize in helping clients navigate relationship challenges by providing a supportive space to explore patterns of communication, emotional triggers, and unmet needs. Together, we identify what’s working, what’s not, and develop healthier ways to connect, set boundaries, and rebuild trust. Whether you're struggling in a romantic partnership, family dynamic, or friendship, my goal is to help you gain clarity, improve emotional awareness, and strengthen your relationships with others—and with yourself.

In our work together, you can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where you're encouraged to explore your thoughts and emotions freely. Whether you’re an adult, adolescent, child, I tailor our work to your unique needs. My client-centered, strengths-based approach draws from an integrative approach including, but never limited to, Psychoanalytic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Play Therapy. I’m especially passionate about helping clients recognize how their past experiences shape their present patterns—and how awareness can lead to self-acceptance, resilience, and positive change. This perspective fosters a collaborative, empowering relationship between therapist and client.

Experience/ Education: Before pursuing therapy, I dedicated over 25+ years to nonprofit work, supporting children, families, and communities through advocacy and program development. I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Montclair State University, an M.A. in Management from New York University, and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. As a Masters level counselor, I am actively pursuing full licensure under supervision from a credentialed licensed professional counselor. I am an active member of the American Counseling Association, the Licensed Professional Counselor Association of Georgia, and NAMI Georgia.
