Meet Claire:
I help families, couples, and individuals by providing a safe and peaceful space where clients can explore their authentic feelings, with the long-term goal of achieving wholeness and a sense of coming home to themselves.
Therapeutic Approach:
I utilize Family Systems Theory and Attachment Theory to ground and yield insight as clients navigate exploring their emotions. I specialize in working with families experiencing conflict by assisting them in exploring their emotions and understanding the family system—how members interact and function as a whole. Additionally, I work with young adults experiencing life transitions and work alongside them to process their emotions and the developmentally appropriate discomfort that can accompany life transitions.
Couples Therapy:
I work with couples experiencing difficulties with intimacy and communication, using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) techniques to help illuminate the power of connection in their relationship.
Professional Background:
I have had the privilege of working with clients for three years, gaining experience with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, families, couples, and individuals seeking faith-based therapy. I have received training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attended the EFT Externship in November 2023.
Experience/Education:
I graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in May 2023. Prior to that, I earned my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Georgia.
