Meet Alex:
Hi! I’m so glad that you’re here.
You may look capable, responsible, and successful on the outside — yet feel anxious, exhausted, or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients are high-achieving individuals who are used to meeting expectations while quietly carrying pressure, perfectionism, or unresolved pain.
I work with teens, adults, and couples who want more than just symptom relief. They want to understand themselves more deeply, heal from past experiences, and build lives that feel authentic, peaceful, and aligned.
Often, achievement began as a strength — and sometimes as a way to cope. Together, we gently explore the patterns that once protected you but may now be creating stress, burnout, or relationship strain. We process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and separate your worth from your performance.
This work isn’t about lowering your goals. It’s about helping you succeed without losing yourself. Therapy can be a space to slow down, integrate your story, and build confidence rooted in self-trust rather than external validation. Healing and ambition can coexist — and so can success and peace.
Older Kids/Pre-teens:
Supporting emotional growth, confidence, and connection during important developmental years. I work with older children and preteens in a warm, supportive, and emotionally safe environment where they can better understand themselves and express what they’re experiencing. This stage of development often comes with growing emotional, social, and academic pressures, and many children struggle to fully communicate what they’re feeling underneath the surface.
I help children build emotional awareness, strengthen confidence, and develop healthier ways of navigating relationships, emotions, and challenges in everyday life. Children I support may be struggling with: - Anxiety or emotional overwhelm - Difficulty expressing emotions - Friendship or peer challenges - Self-esteem concerns - Emotional reactivity or shutdown - Difficulty adjusting to changes or transitions
My goal is to help children feel more understood, emotionally supported, and confident in themselves as they continue to grow. Our work focuses on building resilience, emotional awareness, and confidence that isn’t dependent on grades, performance, or approval. I help young people understand who they are beneath expectations and develop tools to move forward with clarity and self-trust. Growing into adulthood should include success — but also authenticity and peace.
Teens & Adult Individuals:
Helping you reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I work with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, disconnected from themselves, or caught in patterns that no longer feel healthy or sustainable. Many of the individuals I support are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, identity shifts, emotional exhaustion, or the impact of difficult past experiences that still feel present today. My approach is thoughtful, reflective, and grounded in helping you better understand yourself while creating meaningful and sustainable change. Together, we focus on rebuilding self-trust, understanding patterns, and helping you feel more emotionally grounded and connected in your life and relationships. Areas of focus may include: - Anxiety and overthinking - Identity shifts and life transitions - Relationship challenges - Emotional overwhelm - Difficulty trusting yourself or others - Repeating emotional or relational patterns - Healing from emotional neglect or betrayal - My goal is to help you feel safer within yourself, more connected to who you are, and more confident moving forward.
Couples Therapy:
Helping couples slow down, reconnect, and better understand one another. I work with couples who feel stuck in repeating conflicts, emotionally disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward together. Often, beneath communication struggles are deeper patterns involving hurt, fear, unmet emotional needs, or difficulty feeling emotionally safe and understood within the relationship. My approach to couples therapy is warm, supportive, and focused on helping both partners feel heard while identifying the patterns that keep the relationship feeling stuck. Together, we work toward creating healthier communication, rebuilding emotional safety, and strengthening connection in a more intentional and supportive way. Couples may seek support for: - Repeating conflict cycles - Communication difficulties - Emotional distance or disconnection - Trust or betrayal concerns - Difficulty navigating life transitions together - Feeling misunderstood or emotionally unsupported - The goal is not perfection—it’s helping your relationship feel more connected, secure, and emotionally safe.
Athletes & Performance Support:
Helping athletes strengthen confidence, emotional resilience, and balance both on and off the field. I work with athletes and high-performing individuals who are navigating pressure, anxiety, performance stress, identity challenges, or difficulty balancing expectations within sports, school, work, and everyday life. Whether you are struggling with confidence, burnout, emotional overwhelm, or the mental impact of injury, transitions, or setbacks, therapy can provide a space to slow down, reset, and rebuild from a more grounded place. Together, we focus on strengthening emotional resilience, improving self-trust, managing pressure in healthier ways, and helping you feel more connected to yourself beyond performance alone.
