MALLORY CALLANS
Masters Level Clinical Intern
Mallory is a master’s level intern working under the supervision of owner and clinical director of Johns Creek and Alpharetta Counseling, Erica Gregory. Mallory enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-esteem/body image issues, OCD, and life transitions.
She uses a variety of different approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and client-centered therapy to best fit the client’s needs. Through these approaches, she hopes to foster a sense of confidence and coping skills that allow the client to grow and flourish in life.
Mallory received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Family/Child Sciences from Florida State University and is now earning her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. She also has experience working at a residential eating disorder treatment facility. This has provided Mallory with knowledge on the therapeutic and basic nutritional treatment of eating disorders/disordered eating. Mallory enjoys reading, and spending time with her dog, friends, and family in her free time.
